Sandy Assaad earned her Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Liverpool and chose a career in criminal defence out of a strong desire to protect rights, advocate for clients, and uphold fairness in the legal system.

Before joining Karapancev Law, Sandy worked at a prominent criminal defence firm and a respected family law practice. Her prior experience in family law provides valuable insight into cases that involve overlapping or concurrent family proceedings. This experience enables her to approach matters involving domestic disputes, relationship-driven allegations, and other sensitive client issues with both strategic acumen and empathy.
