Peter Snider

ARTICLING STUDENT

Peter is a passionate articling student who is beginning their criminal law career at Karapancev Law. They believe in providing friendly assistance to all clients and applying the breadth of their education to cases, always working to achieve the best possible result. Peter knows that legal processes can be complex and stressful and is committed to helping all clients understand their position as well as their path through the legal system.

Peter has been committed to legal work since high school and received their Juris Doctorate from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law in 2026. During their time at UOttawa, Peter gained early legal experience interning with a local immigration law firm and brings this experience to their work today. Peter also participated in their university’s Trans ID clinic, supporting their LGBT+ community and helping to guide people through legal processes that they could not manage on their own.

Prior to law school, Peter received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sociology from McMaster University and brings that socially-aware perspective to their legal career. Peter is committed to finding optimal and thoughtfully-crafted resolutions to legal matters as well as providing aid to accused people who are struggling with their lives under the burden of legal proceedings.

Outside of work, Peter enjoys canoeing through provincial parks, spending time with their family, and attending many music events throughout downtown TO.
