Mikesh is a highly qualified legal professional with a strong academic foundation and extensive experience in criminal law. He earned an Honours LL.B. from the University of Leeds, where he actively participated in various legal activities, including the Leeds Law Society, negotiating competitions and research seminars, demonstrating his early aptitude for advocacy and legal research. Mikesh also holds a B.A. in Honours Sociology and Legal Studies with a minor in Management Studies from the University of Waterloo. His academic background, combined with his practical experience, has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the legal system and a commitment to justice.

Mikesh brings a unique perspective to our criminal defence law firm, having previously served as an Assistant Crown Attorney. Working at two Crown offices, he prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases, including impaired driving, intimate partner violence, and sexual assault. This experience has given him an in-depth understanding of the strategies and processes employed by the Crown, which he now leverages to benefit his clients in criminal defence.
